google-logoGoogle Q2 2010 revenues have increased by 24% to $6.82 billion compared to the same period last year. Google sites generated $4.5 billion, 66% of total revenues, which represents a 23% increase over second quarter 2009 revenues of $3.65 billion. Partner sites, through AdSense programs, generated $2.06 billion, 30% of total revenues, compared to $1.68 billion in the same period a year earlier. International revenues totaled $2.53 billion, representing 52% of total revenues in Q2.

Eric Schmidt, CEO of Google, commented on the results: “Google had a strong second quarter… Solid growth in our core business and very strong growth in our emerging businesses drove 24% revenue growth year over year. We saw strength in every major product area, as more and more traditional brand advertisers embraced search advertising and as large advertisers increasingly ran integrated campaigns across search, display, and mobile. We feel confident about our future, and plan to continue to invest aggressively in our core areas of strategic focus”.
