RCom to reach 11 million TV homes in India
Monday, August 16th, 2010Reliance Communications published its results for the second quarter of 2010 and announced a slight increase of 0.3% in terms of revenues compared to the last quarter to US$1.100 million.
Reliance Communications approved a proposal to acquire Digicable, one of the largest Cable TV operator in India under a new entity named “Reliance Digicom”. Rcom already offers DTH and IPTV services.
According to Dataxis Intelligence, Reliance Digicom will have near 11 million TV subscribers with about 8.5 million Cable TV customers and 2.5 million DTH.
