O2 Germany allows Skype in Mobile phones

O2 Germany now allows the customers to use VoIP (Voice over IP) like Skype, via Mobile phones. Unlike T-Mobile, there will be no additionnal costs (€9.95/month for T-Mobile).

Lutz Pupils, Director of Marketing and Sales, said “We have one of the most modern and fastest mobile data networks in Europe and our customers will experience no restrictions, whether surfing, emailing, instant messaging or making phone calls. With the opening of our Mobile Broadband network for VoIP services, we set new standards in the field of Mobile Internet”.

Few months ago, T-Mobile and Vodafone refused to sell Nokia phones with Skype client embedded.
