Telekom Slovenije to invest €30 million in digital TV in Macedonia

After signing an agreement on the purchase of Cosmofon at the end of March, Telekom Slovenije has an important project to implement DVB-T in Macedonia. For this deployment, they will invest €30 million in infrastructure development through a subsidiary. The services will be marketed by a media company controlled by Telekom Slovenije.
Bojan Dremelj, the president of Cosmofon board said : “The Macedonian market presents us with numerous business opportunities. We are here to take advantage of them together with employees and local partners, making them work for our customers. Telecommunications are the foundation for an efficient and competitive economy of each country, and I am convinced that with our complete and advanced offering in Macedonia we will get to play a serious and important role in development”.
