Vibo Telecom to invest about $63 million in 2010 for network expansion and upgrade

Wednesday, December 9th, 2009

Vibo Telecom, a Taiwanese 3G mobile operator with approximately 1.5 million subscribers, has announced an ambitious plan of investment amounting up to $63 million in 3G network upgrade to HSPA+ and coverage expansion for next year. In fact, this goes aline with the operator ambitions to cross over the 2 million subscribers landmark in 2010, and thus allow the company to break even by July 2010 and generate profits by year-end if its subscriber base continues to expand at current rates and reaches its target in the coming year.
