Tigo & Mobily in cooperation talks

A team from Tigo Sri Lanka has met with a team from Mobily in order to evaluate possibilities of establishing an understanding between the two companies. According to the statement released by the two operators, this understanding is aimed at exploring ways of providing superior quality and developing more innovative products and services. Tigo CEO, Dumindra Ratnayaka said: “This sharing of expertise will help us move towards providing superior, more innovative and customer-focused products and services. Etisalat has prominent global presence in the Saudi, UAE and the subcontinent – we hope to leverage on the stakes held in those countries in order to benefit Sri Lanka”.

This alliance is expected to positively impact core areas of international communications and thus create a telephonic revolution in Sri Lanka through the increased global synergy in products and services.
