Africans spend on average $10 per month on mobile communications
Wednesday, January 27th, 2010According to Dataxis Intelligence‘ last updates, in Africa people spent $10 per month on using mobile phone services across the continent, representing a 30% decrease in comparison to the same period of last year (cf Table1). Although there are differences between consumers of different countries, most of them spent between $8 and $12 on using their cellphones.
The released data also revealed that top spending customers on mobile communications came from Angola ($25), Cape Verde($23) and Gabon ($20), whereas less spending ones are mainly from Mozambique ($4.3), Madagascar ($4.4) and Tanzania ($5).
